Here's a little story: I bought a workout program that was supposed to be for beginner calisthenics because I wanted to try something new... it was NOT for beginners. The first day started with 10 chin ups for three sets (that's a lot!).

BUT because I knew how to modify exercises to fit my exeperience level, I was still able to use the program. I modified almost every exercise in some way so I could do it. I still got stronger!

I hear similar stories all the time, but it usually has a different ending:
  • They bought a workout that didn't match up with their experience level, so they abandoned it and stopped exercising altogether out of frustration.
  • They went to a workout class where the instructor pushed them to do exercises a specific way, and they ended up getting hurt.

meet your Coach

I’m an inclusive strength & movement coach who helps people get hella strong so they can have fun and live their lives in full color! My coaching is beginner-friendly, movement-based, and size-inclusive (no weight loss or calorie counting!). I believe in coaching that is kind, not shaming or judgmental, as so many fitness experiences are. With 9 years of strength training and 12 years of swing dance instruction under my belt, I love helping people who don't feel like they belong in mainstream fitness spaces find their strength so they can take full advantage of every movement opportunity in their lives.

This plan, delivered as a PDF, gives you a workout structure and tells you what to do when, but gives you the opportunity to choose which exercise variation you want to do! There are five workouts that can be repeated indefinitely.

This not only helps you practice what you've learned in Strength Your Way, but it also gives you a place to start if you don't already have a workout plan. Because of what you learn in the course, you'll be able to use these workouts at home or at the gym.
